Very nice car. I might look into them after I'm done with the 03. Those prices for just exhaust systems (I went to the other site that lists prices for catbacks etc) is absolutely insane. The majority of them on there were $3,000-10,000 with a few being around 2k... I understand that most of them are titanium but holy shit.

Can the axles hold up to that kind of power ( upper end kits )?
Some guys get away with around 1000hp on factory axles, other don't. It really comes down to launching the car--depends on BOTL, frequency, etc.

No titanium here. Picking my parts carefully.

People who know me know I def don't buy garbage parts but I do have a strict budget with this vehicle.

I hope you didn't take my post above the wrong way. The prices of those upgrade packages sure are jaw-dropping for someone used to buying parts for a Mustang. I guess the relatively limited numbers of those cars, combined with the fact that they are rocket ships right out of the box means upgrades are pricey. Looking forward to hearing how the mods work out for ya.

I didn't take it the wrong way at all.

Prices on some of these parts are beyond silly.

A friend of mine has a 16" carbon ceramic brake kit on his GTR and I think it was almost as much money as I paid for my whole car

Ask errormacro what even a budget tranny upgrade cost.

Realistically I have no business owning this car.

I got the best deal on a new leftover that I'm aware of.

    Only reason I have it.

Now time to spend money on car parts.

These cars are 100% figured out by the aftermarket.

    Very easy to work on.

I prefer jack stands to keep the car from rolling/moving. I tried to cheat in my younger days and almost had an issue so I will not be trying that again. Be careful when you are working on your cars guys!

Race Ramps sells a very nice setup but its a bit $$$.

    I hear you.

Jack stands on a GTR is a pain.

I don't really trust this car sitting on them either.

AWD with the e-brake set and it's good to go.

So it won't roll off, I'll screw 1x6 on the ends of these wood stands to be safe.

I have never really been a GTR fan per say (always respected what it could do, just not my style), but I have to admit... your car looks damn good
