I just read that a professor of "media ethics" (<<< who knew?) says the video should be destroyed because there is no credible use for it. "Deaths from stingrays are so rare that it shouldn't even be shown as a safety lesson."
Apparently that barb is so powerful that it can penetrate a piece of 1/4" plyboard. Another doctor said the poison did not kill him. The actual barb must've went directly into his heart rendering the muscle useless or it lacerated multiple arteries.
it does more damage pulling it out than going in!
