Yessir - she's a Capri! I'll let Dan give the details.

This started life as a 4 cylinder 1986 Capri. Then later swapped to an efi 5.0 and t5. It has long tubes, 3 core rad, full exhaust, pretty sure a 8.8" rear and some other stuff. After some driving it had a tree fall on the roof and was obliterated. The car sat for several years until I drug it from a front yard. I feel it was a decent deal but on Sunday I'll know more. Will have it on the rack for disassembly.

My main goal is to take the Capri and the 84 ranger I just bought to build a driving EFI 5.0/t5 truck for under $1500. Both were not far from the scrap heap. Right now I'm $950 into both but will have a lot of stuff to haul in for junk and some to sell to pad the budget a little bit.

It is different.....it will be 85cid smaller than my other 1st gen ranger!! And a stick shift. Also, I'm pretty sure a hellcat motor would put me out of the budget I'm trying to stay under. ;)

Actually got it running today! Sounded pretty good. Then promptly started tear down. The motor and trans are about ready to pluck out...just a few more small things to unhook.
