Was gonna go 18's but DTD had a smoking deal on Bridgestones. 4 Potenza RE760's in 275/40-17 for $584 to my door with a $70 rebate visa card. 18's can wait I'll work on the suspension. Deal is until tomorrow if anyone is looking for tires.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

    I'll play.

my '85 hasn't had much love in a long time.

    image.jpgimage.jpg

I bought it in '94 and threw a Summit catalog at it in '97... Aluminum Performer heads, E-cam, balanced, roller rockers, etc. Still a 4-barrel, has 11" rotors up front with Mark VIi calipers and a T-bird Turbo Coupe disc brake rear. Lowered a bit, sub frames, and a JBA strut tower brace.

Then I got married, bought a house, had 3 kids, built a house, you know... life.

Noticed this Spring the tires were made in 2005. Oh geez. The 2.5" high flow catted H-pipe was squished down to about 1 7/8" years ago by a hump at the entrance to our drive. Right after it got lowered.

The 1985 Premium Sound radio should be used to torture ISIS dirtbags.

The rug has 158,0000 miles on it.

So, I ordered 17x8 Pony's for it (great idea Paxton!) and I think I'll buy some Goodyears on a Tire Rack deal. Goodbye 10 holes, I'm stepping up to the 1990's!

BBK catted X-pipe already arrived, as did new front speakers. The new dash pad is here, the carpet and mats arrive Monday. I've got a Pioneer head unit (AM-FM-CD!) picked out at Crutchfield and then I just need to replace the rear speakers I installed in 1995.

its always felt pretty good, but I think next Spring it's going to feel and sound a little better!

Looks good man. My 85 GT used to have the same paint scheme before I painted it black. Kinda wish I would have left it stock. Haven't had mine quite as long, only since 98. Been toying with redoing it sometime soon

Exotic fuels are for cheaters. So are non-local tracks. Cecil is downhill, that's why Uncle Ben clicked off a 10.64 If it's not full weight it's an unfair advantage. Motorcycle batteries are for motorcycles not s197's. Manual racks can be found in some 60-70's cars not in a 2012.....
