That show is filmed mostly at my buddy's mechanic's shop. The fat dudes do very little of the work. Still - neat seeing the racing at QCR ( and at PittRace tonight ) and knowing my buddy's guy does most of the work.

Out of all the new car shows on tv... this has got to be my least favorite. I'm sure the guys are more intelligent than the show makes them out to be, but some of the things they do/say are just ridiculous. Don't remember the exact times, but they dropped a 572 in a Chevelle and it ran low 13's and they were making it out to be some great achievement. Or the guy that ran mid 10s and then sprayed a 100 shot and was disappointed it didn't drop it into the 8's.

I know its made for tv, but it just makes them look like fools... I'd rather watch CSI reruns.

I watched a little of the episode where they were building a Fairlane (I think) and a Pontiac. Ford guy wanted a 428 Cobra jet motor. Pontiac guy wanted to beat his brother. They asked how fast they wanted to go. Dudes said for 27k he could make the car run 13s. Are you serious? That's a joke.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

I couldn't get through 5 minutes of it, but if they are racing an old Boss vs. a newer Boss I will have to watch. We all know a newer Boss will MURDER a '69-'70 Boss 302 (this is coming from someone who has lusted after a '69 Boss 302 since the age of 4) so it will be comical to see them try to act as if they are close in any aspect of speed.
