This show is a joke...if you look really close at the cars they "fixed up", they are hacks. Look at the paint work alone on some of those cars.

What a stupid ****ing show. Of course the '69 "beat" the '12 around PittRace. If I had a son in a '12 Boss and he allowed me to beat him around a road course in a 46 year old Mustang on Goodyear Eagle GTIIs I would disown him or sell his car and buy him an appropriate soulless appliance like a Toyota Camry.

I'd does seem like they do a shitty job on paint and finish. I take these shows with a grain of salt. Entertainment while getting to look at nice cars. The worse car show on TV has to be desert car kings. You wanna see some shitty paint and body work watch that show.

That was immediately came to mind when I saw the original post about the hack cars. You see the green Charger they did at Desert Car Kings? WOW. You could light and dark spots in the paint where they did the jambs, the door didn't line up, it was a mess.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Yeah most of their cars wave at you, overspray everywhere, orange peel. Swirl scratches in new paint. It's hard for me to watch. Then the son talks like a cartoon character and says the word "man" every sentence. Makes my blood boil lol

That's where I'm at, but as the other examples already pointed out, the builds versus dollars versus results are ridiculous. And the toothpick dude drives me nuts, not using "an" before a word that starts with a vowel sound.. it's happened at least once in each show the last 2 weeks. I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was something like "a instant classic".

I know if I drove past the DVAP yard with an empty trailer I'd be bringing something cool and rust-free home...the only hard part would be choosing it.

I think that show is entertaining too. I just watched the DVR episode. Brett Michaels got beat up and all his Sang stolen. Some far fetched shit goes on but it's definitely interesting to watch growing up in the woods hunting.
