I refuse to watch their show or acknowledge their existence. The only car shows that matter are Top Gear UK, Wheeler Dealers, Fast N' Loud, Bitchin' Rides and Chasing Classic Cars.

A lot of people who want to do more than putter around in their real Boss or early Shelbys swap out motors and trannys and whatever else they don't want to risk breaking. I know my buddy pulled the aluminum T-10 4-speed out of his '65 Shelby and replaced it with a toploader for just that reason. The T-10 is on a shelf ready to go back in when he sells the car. In the meantime, he can drive it as hard as he dares without worrying about replacing a very hard-to-find, expensive, and relatively fragile tranny.

Haha I hear ya there. At age 16 I was rolling around - proudly I might add - in my Dad's '68 LTD 2-door 390 auto with stainless duals & glass packs. A new Boss for a 16 year old is simply retarded.

...and people wonder why I love the "boats" so much!!!
