beefy reworked cradle, the square tube in the rear is all new.

flexplate redrilled for conveter, block tapped for extra trans hole, knock sensor moved.

Sweet! I like when projects are not suck in limbo like mine. Looks like that cradle was really beefed up. You have a bunch of custom work into that swap.

the cradle/motor/trans is back in the car and the oem fire can be seen again. Still needs custom axles and wheels, it might not get done until this winter but...

Scott (the guy who is tuning my car) ran the first 9 second transverse mounted engine in a fiero pass at the shootout last weekend!

    small update

it looks like im going to get a new sidecover made for the 4t80e to let it hold a few more quarts of fluid. Apparently the problem with them are that they lose a lot of pressure when under heavy acceleration and this is the fix (this is coming from a guy with a twin l67 - 4t80 rear 4t65 front car that runs 8s).

Tom told me that he was adding a goat seat to the passenger side. He plans on having one of Dan's goats as Fiero fire chief next season

Thats when the Fiero should be back too.

Right now its waiting for a custom sidecover for the trans so the dry sump scavenger pump doesnt starve and drop pressure under heavy acceleration. Engine and Trans are in the car, and its just waiting for the new fuel surge tank for the fuel system, the oil scavenge pump, the tcm, pcm and wiring harnesses to be put in. Some hoses might need to be relocated for the sidecover, its going to be a tight fit.

It will also need custom axles and then I'll have to figure out wheels.

I did some calculations today, im going to run a 28" tall tire and rev to 6500 (currently at 6000). This will give me 146mph in 3rd.
