The bottom end can hold about 1000hp stock. ZZP has an 8 second GTP with a stock bottom end.

That, the GTR and the beetle in one day was the most fun I had at the FLDs.
Thank you. My car has been getting more consistent as I tweak my setup and find what works. It has gotten me to with in a fender of taking top street from that Red Coronet and the driver came up to me and said "Wow that was everything I had". Power management to get consistency seems to be the key to these events.

FYI... When they installed the concrete pad they through me for a loop. I can launch the car hard but as soon as the surface changes I would go up in smoke so I went back to ignoring the pad and more or less using it for consistency more then a traction aid. You may have noticed this when you used anti-lag.

Feel free to hit me up with PMs and I cant try to get you some input from my finding. It might help but out cars are very different.

Raced 3 times, lost the last one. His car would kill mine now though. They were pretty even back then.

I'm going to sell it once I get everything up and running. I'll probably let it go for $450, I think it needs new seals (smokes at idle).

I think its the old design that was blowing seals. I'll probably sell it on ebay to someone who can rebuild it.

I've got the same issue with my current 5558 and feel the same. Strangely enough, I made the same move to a BB unit (but only 5858) .... Hoping the reduced oil need to the BB unit lets it last long / not smoke like this one (was on 4 seasons, the first 2 very hard, so no shame for it).

I heard rumors that the design was changed around april of last year. The pte bb turbos seem to have less problems from what ive seen online. I'm crossing my fingers.

I've always liked the fiero since the mid 90's. Totally awesome build! If only there were any up here that weren't completely ragged out :(

Definitely awesome build--someday I want to do a sleeper style build! Good luck getting everything upgraded.
