What color should I make it this year? Last year I screwed up with putting pink flakes in dark red.

This year I want to try out the new high gloss plastidip, so I'm thinking:

Black, Bright Red or Gunmetal grey

I thought for a little bit about doing something like yellow, but I don't think the wheels would look right.

I'm going to paint the center of the wheels black (the lace part)

Everyone outside of here keeps telling me grey too. Luckily I'm stubborn and don't fall to peer pressure!

Now, where in heck does all of this go?

The fiero's wheels wouldn't look good like that, they are 15", and only have like 13" of lace to paint. One of my favorite parts about the fiero is the stock wheels.

    235/60-15s

Last time I took it to the drag strip I couldn't get it to do a burnout in the waterbox. It got traction and pushed the front wheels (completly locked up) out. I got a strange look from the waterbox guy. I even adjusted the bias of the brakes to the rear some and it didn't help.

ET streets. I also dont launch it that hard because the weak link is the transmisson. I try to stay around 1.5-1.6 60's ~ which is launching at around 3psi on the antilag.

I think I'm going to go with a darkish grey like this:

except with the high gloss coat over it.

I wish this winter would end...

Took the words right out of my mouth....

I think the grey/gloss will look really good on your car Tom. The red was a good idea, but it definitely came out pinkish.

The fun part will be peeling all that dip off. You thought my neighbors looked weird at us last year when we were doing it? just wait till we are peeling it all back off lol.

I think it might look cool with the roof black like the 1990 fiero prototype:

When I pulled the white off, there was a neighbor 2 houses down staring. He was probably wondering if you could pull the paint off any car.

This build is great. It makes me want to do a mid/rear engine for project car.

I miss not seeing this thing in the garage. I panicked when I didn't see it the other day.
