Modifications to allow the trans and motor to mate are already being worked on. Way ahead of what I expected. The rear exhaust manifold needs notched, the transmission range switch needs moved and modified (probably using the 65e one), the block needs a new hole, and the flexplate needs a new hole.

Should have kept the old block. It already had a nice hole in it!

I thought this was going to be a hard swap but it sounds like you are on top of everything.

The general consensus is that this is in the expert difficulty range. The guy doing the fabrication is pretty awesome at this stuff though.

I changed my signature to reflect how large my new transaxle is compared to the motor.

It might, I probably could have got them working on the 65 if i messed with them for awhile. They stopped working when I went to the metal shift cable because the stock one melted.

hopefully lol. They fit in with the N*, which is a huge motor. Pontiac originally put a sbc in Fieros before they determined it should be a secretaries car, so there is a ton of space in the bay.

Ordered the Transmisson Controller, looks like the l67 pcm isn't going to cut it. My car will no longer be considered stock
