I could bring you a fiero model car to put in it if you want.

The Eclipse will be in there this weekend, so I should miss it less. I really need to get a heater in there.

A fiero with a focus powertrain like yours would be a blast to drive. My engine/trans are so heavy it takes a lot of the playfulness out of the car. People drop in the turbo ecotech motors a good bit too.

You've created a monster. Every car I look at I think whether or not I can gut it to make it a mid-engine. Yes this powertrain is a great base. The Duratec platform is what Ken Block had in his Monster car, just with an AWD system that is practically impossible to acquire.
This time around I'd start with a 2.5L block, 2.3 head, and use something the size of a Holset hx35 or Garrett GT35.
I'm barely done with this build and already thinking of the next.
A Lotus Elise would be a nice car to start with, but I'm just not willing to pay that much for a car I'm going to completely gut.

I would just drive an elise and be done with it, they are awesome cars outright. I was considering one a few years ago but they seemed too fragile for how bad the roads are around here.

One of those MR2 spyders with a powerplant like yours would be pretty nice.

After some phone calls, the 4t80e sounds promising, the company that builds them has had them hold 700whp in a full size caddy. That will be plenty for my car that weighs 40% as much. I'll have to get pricing tomorrow and ill need a TEP custom converter.

Damn you guys are getting fast!! My car hauls ass and I'm not even in the same universe. I think we forget how lucky we are to be here during this era of unprecedented horsepower and performance. It really is awesome!

Ordered the 4t80e with 3.71 gears and a 3k converter. I went with shorter gears because the trans builder said that 4th is actually useable.

    Why not?

Plastidip is easy to fix after you drag the bumper.

In South Carolina all street cars have chutes.
