    DADs Shootout?

    anyone going to run DADs Streetcar shootout at Quaker this year?

    DADS OUTLAW LIMITED STREET
    DADS STREET LEGAL OUTLAW
    DADS MODIFIED STREET
    OUTLAW
    DADS ON THE FENCE CAR CRUISE

    Dates, entry fees, and payouts to
    be determined.



    DADS OUTLAW LIMITED STREET:

    Front
    Suspension:
    -Stock front frame rails and suspension required (direct bolt-on
    aftermarket
    control arms
    and bushing allowed).
    -Rack
    and pinion steering allowed.
    -Aftermarket struts and coil-over’s are allowed,
    so long as they bolt directly to the stock location.
    -Aftermarket sub-frames
    must bolt to factory mounting holes.
    Rear Suspension:
    -Any type rear
    suspension is allowed.
    Tires:
    -Any slick tire up to 30” x
    10.5” sidewall designation allowed. W tires are allowed. DOT tires up to 12.50”
    sidewall designation allowed.
    Engine:
    -Any engine combination
    allowed.
    Transmission:
    -Any type automatic or manual transmission is
    allowed.
    License plate required (any plate, cosmetic only).
    All cars must
    meet IHRA/NHRA safety requirements.
    Drivers must wear the safety equipment
    required for the ET’s being run.
    Format:
    1/8 mile race
    Heads Up
    .4
    Pro Tree -- courtesy staging mandatory -- no deep staging
    All Run
    Ladder
    Pro run order (1 vs. 16, 2 vs. 15 etc.)
    Bye run goes to the fastest
    qualifier and then it will be based on reaction time.
    Lane choice goes to the
    fastest previous pass.
     
     
     
     
     
     
    DADS STREET LEGAL
    OUTLAW:

    This class is meant for registered street
    legal cars
    . When you sign in at the DADS
    booth, you must show registration and have street legal plates.
    -STREET LEGAL
    TIRES MANDATORY. Drag radials and ET street are allowed. Any size drive tires
    allowed.
    -MUST BE COMPLETELY STREET. If your car is questioned of being
    actual streetable, then this class is not for you. No gutted racecars permitted
    to race.
    Body/Interior:
    -Full bodied street type car/trucks. Domestic and
    import allowed.
    -Working headlights and taillights, this means headlights not
    fog lamps.
    -No dragsters, roadsters, altereds, or center steer cars.
    -Must
    be street appearing, no gutted interiors. Must have 2 front seats or 1 bench
    seat. Carpeted interior even if rear seat is removed. Factory
    dash
    or pre-approved dash pad required. Must have door
    panels.
    -Racecar lettering on windows only.
    -Must have stock style front
    suspension
    .
    -No full round or square tube chassis
    cars.
    -Full exhaust system required.
    Electronics:
    -No bracket racing
    aids, no throttle stops (electric or pneumatic), no optical sensors.
    -No
    delay boxes permitted for starting line procedures or other driver aided
    electronics. The
    application or use of any device, mechanical or electronic,
    that permit the driver to ascertain the
    position of their vehicle in
    relationship to the starting line is prohibited.
    -Progressive nitrous
    controller system is allowed.
    -No electric or air shifters
    permitted.
    License plate required
    All cars must meet the IHRA/NHRA safety
    requirements.
    Drivers must wear the safety equipment required for the ET’s
    being run.
    Format:
    ¼ mile race
    Heads Up
    .4 Pro Tree -- courtesy

    All run ladder

    -Back half or stock rear suspension
    allowed.
    -Windows, lexan permitted.
    -Must have stock style front
    suspension
    .
    - Full round or square tube chassis cars.
    Can not be certified past/faster than 8.50 certification.
    -Exhaust system:
    mufflers mandatory.
    -No gutted racecars permitted to
    race.
    Electronics:
    -No bracket racing aids, no throttle stops (electric or
    pneumatic), no optical sensors.
    -No delay boxes permitted for starting ling
    procedures or other driver aided electronics. The

    looking like a good heads up program being started this year and hopefully brings more heads up racing in the general area!

    Why put a roll cage in a stock car??

    Bob, let me know if interested. There is a good group of guys putting this together so hoping to support it. Already sent some sponsorship in for this year, like you said looks like good time.

    Ruthless you have plenty of time to put a cage in, there is some decent heavy hitting stret cars I know of racing and yours would make a nice addition/class filler for it. either way just out to have fun

    I have another project that's been sitting that is caged and more drag only then the cobra. Just need to finish that bad boy some day.

    1969 Camaro restomod/project
    1967 camaro
    2011 mustang procharged
    93 reef blue notch blk/int
    92 calypso notch blk/int
    86 t-type
    1972 chevelle project
    Not only did I fail at building a fast mustang but I bought a yellow zo6 cause I couldn't get my little dick up.
