Haha, to be fair, it's not a mechanical limitation, just the programming for the transmission control module is optimized for a factory powered GT-R. The stock clutches will actually hold it, it just needs to be tweaked

On e85, if you tune to around 19-20psi, you'll likely have some slippage on launch and the 1-2 shift--it won't be anything serious, just a little bit. I highly recommend moving to LC4 (yours being a 2013 will be running LC5 TCM controls). The reason is that LC4 clutch engagement window is shorter, which will generate less heat and not cause as many issues. If you've ever seen the videos that Tom posted at FLDs, you can see the effects of running LC5 at that power level--your car will be very inconsistent, not pull properly in 1st gear, and sometimes shut you down completely for a few seconds.

Some guys get away with LC5 at where you'll be power wise--it certainly shifts softer, but the longer clutch engagement windows has the counter-effect of more heat, which can cause the issues I mentioned. I'd give it a try on LC5, but if it doesn't feel right, or you get clutch protection, I'd recommend requesting that Ben send you over an LC4 file with the clutch temp thresholds modified (the factory level is very sensitive).

Again, always feel free to give me a ring if anything comes up--I've already tested a lot of stuff out and made a 1,000 mistakes in the process hahaha

LC4/LC5 and what launch RPM to start with the OEM all seasons ?



I have a 285/335 wheel tire combo I have in the works for later on in the Summer.

On the all-seasons, I'd start at 3700-3800 at the track with your set up. Street/Flashlight drags, you'll need to dial it down a notch to around 3,000. These are just starting points, if you hook, bump it 100rpm until you get just a little bit of spin. That usually nets me the best results!
