    Is that yours?

I have been wanting to do one ever since the heads starting getting reproduced by Kaase.

I even called once with credit card in hand ready to pull the trigger on a top end and backed out last second.

I really should grow a set.

    That 557 is a lot more. 22.9k gets you 2 bolt iron block, cast crank & pistons in a 429 @ 500hp
the 460 is also a cast engine @ 600hp & more $, there are many options.
Check out the 700ci Ford Hemi they sell, it starts at more than twice that & the sky's the limit.
It's no junkyard LS with an E-bay turbo.

when I got my truck I test drove a Eco, it was nice, felt a little more sluggish down low but had a nice top end. I just couldn't get over the terrible sound.

I'm sure the 5.0 sounds way better. The hemi sounds pretty good pulling a load, usually you can't hear it though.
