With all the street car talk lately, I figured I would post a lil vid of a street car that lives not too far from me.

No ****ing way that guy uses that mustang for anything but the strip. Lexan windshield, full drivers seat cage, window net, chute, Not even plates on the damn thing.....Either he owns the inspection station or you have none. Pretty funny joke though. Closer to prostock than anything.

Haha.. so just because its fast makes it not a street car? There are numerous 25.5/25.3 cars driving around down here ALL YEAR ROUND.. I mean I guess it's easy to say it's not a street car when you can't keep up. Brads car is a stretch but some cars like his (low 4s) have been driven to cars and coffees. And I guess my car is too fast now since I have to put a chute on it?

Every time this topic comes up I have to laugh. I think we all have different ideas of what a "Street Car" is.

My opinion.
Full factory interior, full trunk, a/c and heat, can fill up at any gas station so 93 pump or so, can drive in stop and go traffic all day without over heating and be able to take a trip anywhere without worries , inspection from any shop (no shop owned cars that get free inspections), real plates not dealer or the like, etc

Oh and make a fast pass on the same tune and fuel that is used on the street at the track.

These race cars playing street crack me up. We have them at the FLDs...make one pass and pull into the pits for fuel, cool down and battery charger. That's NOT a street car.
