I'm a fan of plastidip personally because its much easier/cheaper to change the cars color every year, but the high gloss could be really awesome.

I was just watching vids of the color changing coatings they have now. This stuff has come a long way.

Last summer I tried to make dark red and it came out a little too pink for my taste. I might do bright red this summer.

My buddy just ordered the kit with the glossifier for his wheels. I will report back when I see them in person.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
Did he pre-order the high gloss? It's not going to be out until mid-march. The regular glossifier is similiar to a satin/semi gloss.

About how much do people have into a color change with plastic dip? I understand that some of the glosses and color change can add to the cost. The reason I ask is because I got a quote for a vinyl wrap on the fox and it was about half of what a real paint job costs.

$300-400 for a decent job (high gloss).
You could do a flat for 150 or so.
I would also get the pre-dip spray ($9), and their gun works ($156) pretty good too. Than it is just general stuff like the masking paper, blue tape, etc.. Jeff (the dude with the white/black dsm) and I are probably going to end up dipping 4 cars this summer. It feels a lot like the paint boths in grand theft auto where you pull in, change the color and drive away.
edit: this is for doing it yourself

There's a guy on YouTube that uses an electric paint sprayer with good results. You can buy gallons of paint from dip your car and cut it and spay if yourself with a little research.
Tom, That doesn't sound bad. I just want to go a different then black. There must be a 10000 black fox's on the planet.
Chris, I want to paint it myself because race car. If it gets messed up just pull it off and respray.

But only if I let Kenne scream at ya. LOL
Watch videos from a guy on YouTube with the channel name iamthepuzzleman. He started with cans and has progressed into spraying full cars. He uses a home paint sprayer and has used a few different types. He does all of his stuff like you would in your garage. He is where I got the idea to use plastidip as a bra for winter. uploadfromtaptalk1423704966316.jpg
plastidip is cool stuff. I did my winter wheels a few years ago back when it first started to get noticed, and the only colors were black, or white, lol
