    Audi S4 (B6) handheld tuners

Trying to find stuff for a an audi S4 with the 4.2l v8. Mostly handheld tuners/data loggers, nitrous and forced induction products. Cant really find much on the handheld front and everything else is expensive as hell.

    help?

oh and as for things being expensive, price the timing chain job. Its at the rear of the engine so it has to come out! :(

At the point in that where I had the motor out of the car thats when a 2.7t would be going in. :)

All I can say is based on the cost of parts to do the guide refresh I'm glad I own domestic.

x2. Having a car I'm completely comfortable working on myself is huge. I would not want to time that motor!

LOL QFT! but it never hurts to try... the excuses already came out:

"its not safe if you're in an accident"
"What if it pops my motor"
    "I just dont trust it"

    blahblahblah...

I'd been considering a newer (B8) S4 to replace the WRX but I've been giving it a lot of thought and I'm not sure I want to deal with the price of maintenance. Even if I can do most everything myself I think the price difference of parts might give me a heart attack.

Well you might be able to get a CPO B8 that still has a warranty in the event there is an issue with it depending on the year you pick up. The basic oil change service you can do anywhere they can't void your warranty for that. But yea if you had to do work yourself the prices on parts would send you into v-fib. Its absolutely crazy and the price of performance parts would make you think you were modding a lambo or something.
