    WTB: 99-04 Mustang

My bother is looking for a Mustang. Preferably a 99-04 but will consider older. Max he is looking to spend is around 3k. V6,V8 auto/manual doesn't matter.

let me know of anyone is looking to sell one!

    thanks!

I'd say save a little more and grab Travis' notch. Looks like a nice car.

Barry, check out the national sites. You can get a nice new edge for right around there with a little mileage. I see them on the corral all the time. I agree with Ron though. Another 1500 and the quality of car you get will be big.

It's not for me, he does not not want to travel more than an hour. I told him the same, I found a few in WV and NC didn't want to. I figured something local and he wants to get something within the next week/week and a half.

I've been looking with him for awhile. I always check CL and the forum. I can not believe how many guys have their new edges posted for over 10-11k, it's comical. Not just GTs, I saw a 100k+ mile V6 posted for 7k. Do what you want it's your car obviously. It's just insane these guys think they can get that much for what it is.

X2. 11k gets you a nice mach 1. Or at least it used to. I think Machs are starting to go back up.

I agree... If my wife could drive a 5 speed, I wouldn't mind finding one for her/us just to beat around in the summer. I refuse to buy an auto though.

Guess I will just keep the vert if 11k is comical. No use in taking care of anything anymore Since you can't ask shit for it.

Edit: Just did a KBB and I am over by $100 on what I will be asking. Not a bad guess if you ask me.

Unless it's something special it's not hard to get a new edge for 3k lower end 7k on high upper end. IMHO. Depreciation is a bitch

Exactly. Seems to me fair to good condition V6 auto/manual vert/coupe with over 100k - 2-3k. And a good to fair GT auto/manual vert/coupe with over 100k- 3-6k.

I think that is what deters me from selling mine when I want to. I'm going to guess that the after market parts on it are about what it's worth. Obviously you never recuperate that. It's just not worth selling because Im not going to give it away. It's paid off so is rather just let it sit then sadley. The Machs, Roushs, Bullitts and 03-04 cobras killed any hope for the GT. Oh well. But my whole point is, people are asking ridiculous amounts of money for a GT or V6 that they will never get on a good day.
