    Small Capri upgrades

I think most here know my junk, but planning a few small upgrades this winter.

big deal for me is the car finally went "10's" with a 10.99. I need to get it to where it can run that anytime for True Street.

First is a small turbo upgrade from my current journal 5558 to a ball bearing 5858 ...

plus a "small" cam upgrade (it's a lot more duration) ;)

Also looking to loose a little weight so I got a set of Kirkey's and a few other little things. Going to remove everything related to the spray since I never really used it and it's just dead weight too.

Will you install everything at the same time or do it in steps to see the incremental gains? (please say the latter, please say the latter) :)

I wish I could do the later, but with my limited time, and the need to dyno the speed density set up each time, it's just not going to happen. Worse yet is I have a new intake coming with some real tricks I would like to see on its own too (as would the guy doing it for me). Add in this is a completely new grind cam that they would love the data on too .... Generally it sucks, but time is just going to be against me, and it's all going together then on the dyno.

Is that the V8's version of a 3/4 race cam? lol

I had a pair of those Kirkeys in my old Cobra and they weren't to bad on shorter drives on the street.

    Good luck this year Bob!

    Looking great Bob!
I really like seeing someone stick with the same car year after year and continually make adjustments instead of just buying a new car every year. I think the whole forum watches every season to see what's going to be different. Good luck this year and maybe I'll catch you at PRP.

For this season it is getting another standard diaphragm clutch. IM not ready to bite off the issues that will come with a low base weight setup. I really don't think it would hot lap like we need in True Street .... I know it's a killer decision, but going to try one more season this way.
