    New Guy with a DSM

    Hey guys,

    I am new here, but some of you may remember me. I have a 1990 Talon that I like to punish myself with by screwing with it all the time. I go to the FLD's occasionally as well, although I haven't been there in this chassis yet. The last time I was there I was in one that was all white, and I won the "Tuner" class that day.

    My other cars that I drive when my DSM is busted are a 1996 Mustang GT (technically the wife's car now) and an 84 Ram W150.

    Mods are in the signature.

    Looks great. I've been tempted to pick up a DSM as another project car. What's the panda about?

    I don't think I will ever lower a DSM again. I had Eibach sportlines on my last chassis and I HATED the way it rode.

    Unless I spring for some full coilovers or something, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. The car rides nice, and looks ridiculous on a launch :)

    Car is white/black. In the DSM world we call call this color combination a "Panda". At the DSM Shootout a couple years ago my wife saw one with a panda sticker on it and said I should do the same thing.

    So I did.... But if you look closely it has a "Pedobear" head... so technically it is a "Pedo-panda", so I got some humor out of it as well.

    I am planning on hitting a few of the FLD events in Waynesburg (only 10 miles from my house) and hopefully a few trips to PRP

    Thats why I have cheap tires.... Spinnin ain't winnin, but it sure as hell beats scattering the drivetrain under the car like a box of metallic cheerios.

    Not quite as good as your broke ass suspension, but mine usually includes more tire smoke than yours.
