For a pure track car the Corvette wins hands down. All around, Mustang any day of the week.

The Corvette seemed cold to me (on the street) as well, like it had no soul. Hard to explain. My '09 Cobalt SS compared to my old SRT4 was the same thing. SRT4 was just fun, the SS/TC just seemed cold, like GM sucked the fun out of it. But both cars were loads of fun on a track. Maybe I just didn't "get" the Corvette, not sure. I am the same guy who drove a Lotus Elise on giant A6s and hated it too, so take that with a grain of salt.

Surprisingly, physics hasn't changed even after 13 years. Lighter+nearly equal power=faster
The interior is so awful. Its mind blowing.

Not that it would matter on this site, but like the C7 Z06, the 2015 Mustang GT has a pretty conservative stock tune in it, that makes this car do weird things while under wide open throttle. Typically people are getting 12.7-13.1 in them stock, where as just with a tune they are hitting 12.1-12.4 in them. They have some heavy torque management settings in them. Ford just went way to conservative with them for stock.

I've seen a stock LS6 Z06's tune file many times, and it is pretty good for a stock car.

Food for thought, the LS6 dynos around 360rwhp (2002-2004) SAE, where the 2015 Mustang GT dynos around 370rwhp SAE.

In my opinion, a C5Z is one of the best high performance buys out there. To me, they have just enough creature comforts and technology without taking away from the true driving experience. I've driven multiple ones numerous times, put a down payment on two different ones, and have had a trade deal lined up before, but something has always happened where the deals have fallen through. At this point in my life, I can't afford to have another 2-seater in my stable, but one day I will have one.

Actually according to the guy who raced against the Z06, set the record straight that the Z06 had bolt ons and a tune. Keith is his name in the pic. The Mustang also had a muffler delete.

Was that your finding in your extensive tuning experiences?

BTW.....Are you still offering tunes for the new Dodge Rams?

I'm more capable of understanding a gm and ford file more so than yourself. Especially considering the fuel setup blunder you did with your z06 and the laughing stock of you chasing a few hp to chase a number. Hope you learned your lesson.

Tuning is not my profession but it is something I have done in the past and am perfectly capable of understanding.

You should seek help because your infatuation with me is getting unhealthy.

LMAO.....you we all believe you....honestly.....we do!

I know that you honestly and truly believe all of the stuff that you've made up in your little head and that is truly sad but let me fill you in on something...........YOU are the only one who believes ANYTHING that comes out of your mouth.

Luckily those guys with the Dodge Rams were able to recognize that you are a complete fraud and didn't let you touch their trucks or steal their money!
