    Been a long time since I posted--work has been hectic and I broke some stuff that needed to be fixed. Picking up the car today, so I'll be back around for meet ups, cruises, racing, whatever.

    So the last time I went to the autox, I did a soft launch and heard something snap--pulled the car off to the side and found the Front Driveshaft had broken. There's a bracket between the front diff and the FWD unit in the trans at the rear of the car, so in theory, if I removed the broken piece from the front diff side and put the car in RWD only, it should have been fine. That worked for a couple miles, but then I started hearing another sound, so I called for a flat bed.

    In the end, I had the trans dropped again and sent for inspection. I had a blown seal on the A side (even gears), bent my output shaft in the trans, and snapped the front driveshaft. Seal has been replaced, I upgraded to a beefier output shaft in the trans, upgraded to a beefier front driveshaft, and had them loosen the FWD unit so that the car send a little less power to the front to hopefully avoid this happening again.

    Trans is back in Pittsburgh and is getting finished up today. Not sure, but I may head out to the track this Saturday, but I'm a bit nervous as I'd hate for the car to be down again. It should be fine, but you never know what can happen. Anyway, that's what was going on with my car the past month or so lol.

    I plan my summer around that shit. I haven't missed one since 06. The GTR's are starting to show up in decent numbers. Last year ETS took the ET record from AMS.

    Both of them look to be showing up this year.
