    sharpie mustang

I was considering buying this. Any opinions on the mods that are done and how much would it take to forge the motor. All opinions welcome!

depends on your goals, whether you are doing some or all of the work yourself, parts you buy, shop doing the work, etc.
I'm not particularly familiar with modular motors, but I'd imagine you're looking at 4-5K to build a motor.

He is correct. If you are looking for any amount of power and I'm talking 450+ the get a 03-04 cobra. To make power with a 2v you need a built short block, aftermarket heads/cams and a turbo. Twins screws make them fun on the street but that's it. Once you spend all the money on this car then build it you could have a nice modded terminator.

I figured that it would be pricy to build it. I'm just having trouble finding a cobra

with all the parts I think it's worth 10k IMO.

425rwhp KB with lots of supporting mods...car looks to have been babied....turn key and go....

if you want a nice fast car to drive around and not chase an ET or hp number, this is alot of car for 10k IMO...half that of a cobra.

+1 I think that's a pretty damn good deal for that car. Almost 500RWTQ will be lots of fun on the street. It should run 11's as is. If you need to go faster than that then you'll probably be ahead to get a cobra

FWIW, I did a lot of the work on this car when it was at Rodeheaver's.

The underneath wasn't that great. A lot of surface rust, beat up pinch welds, etc. Nothing was super drastic, but it certainly wasn't clean either. The engine bay had a lot of hacked things going on, but we fixed all of that while we were in there. Leaving the shop, the car was flawless mechanically, but as a maintained chassis, it wasn't super great.

The owner, however, was great to deal with. Super nice guy with a definite passion.

A little surface rust never hurt anybody. :)

    But good feedback for sure.
