In the interest of getting some more people committed to this, I have told a few buddies of mine, and have got several of them very interested in participating, but they aren't currently members of the site.

What should I tell them to confirm their commitment?

I vote to have 1 of the lanes to be RWD/AWD Drag radial and slicks ONLY and the OTHER lane to be for FWD/ Motorcycles and non drag type tires.

While I see the benefit here, it would kinda suck to not be able to grudge race my buddy on street tires. I have seen events where they will shift street tire cars out of the groove instead of restricting lanes.

I like this idea. If I keep my pilot super sports on I'll just have to try and get all the water off before I stage.

does anyone have IHRA license? I am looking to do my licensing sometime in june but need others to sign off for me. there is possibly another track rental with licensed drivers but would consider this one as a back up plan

I vote not, because those who want friendly grudge races will not have an even playing field. That is assuming there are a lot of slick cars that want to run side by side. If most are drag radials and street tires that changes everything.
