No, its a civic board ;)

Seriously though... I dunno... a lower torque number tells me that whatever torque it is making its holding to redline instead of the rate of dropoff being slower than the rate the RPMs increase.

Not sure what that means. I was looking at my dyno sheet and the HP takes over where the TQ levels off at 5k rpm. 760rwtq at 5k is no joke but I turned it up a few clicks more after the dyno tuning. lol

You know how some dyno graphs have a torque drop off in the very high part of the RPM band? Because of the way HP is calculated even though there is a drop off, the RPMs above 5250 are high enough that you hit a great HP number. With a "low" peak torque number it tells me there isn't a huge dropoff. That's the kind of powerband I like where you feel the strong torque to redline.

EDIT - that's why even though the torque number is "low" it tells me you have a powerband I would like... nice and "linear"

You turned it up?! yesss... MOAR TORQUE! :) :) :)

With long tube headers and a CAI, many tuners have already made about 450rwhp NA in these cars. Usually reving them to 8000 rpm.

Those must be some amazing cast pistons in the '15 to survive with that much power.

I would imagine this is why that torque number is pretty low. To save the internals of the engine.

Time will tell I guess. Could be a ticking time bomb.

The rods were the weak part of the coyote. The piston never was. Now they made the rod stronger. The piston isn't really an issue unless you plan on detonating a lot.

The number 8 issue was tuning mishaps. Kind of odd now that coyote tuning has been figured out you don't see the number 8 issue anymore.

I figured out coyote tuning before they even came out:

Don't turn off the knock senseor.
