Yes that was me. I was hoping to catch up with you and ask what was wrong with your car. Time flew by so fast, I didn't get a chance to meet most of the guys. For the next rental, I would suggest a drivers meeting before racing starts to put a face on all the racers. Start with the registration number and introduce yourself. We should have a post for suggestions for the next event. Vince AKA "Fast Gypsy"

I agree. When I'm in race mode it's hard to break away to socialize. I'm too worried about 1000 other things with my car or driving. At the end of the day I realized I only talked with a few people and didn't take a single photo.

PS I bought the front runners off you.

I remember Vince . Just wasn't sure if that was your hatch. I was having a few issues with my notch . Line lock wouldn't hold either . I was just happy to be out at the track and not at work . Let's pit by each other next rental.

Agreed.

I spent a lot of time helping out other racers and only ended up making 3 passes for the day, and I think the only people I actually met from here that I didn't already know were PJ and Dan.

I definitely learned a lot about my new setup in those 3 passes though.

I spent some time in family management mode....making sure the crew wasn't too bored (thank goodness Ron brought his crew) and dealing with my dead battery. Next time I'll have a canopy by the trailer, lawn chairs and a battery charger. Then I can run the h20 pump and fan all the time to cool it down and make more passes. All in all a great day!!

I'll also pay more next time for less humid weather!!

Canadian Thanksgiving is October 12 and I have 3 days of vacation left. Id be willing to drive for a fall track day as I'm sure cam will want revenge.

So PJ - was PRP happy with how everything went?

Do you think it would be good to try to get some more cars for the next event? It seemed like there was still some capacity there for more cars while everyone can still get all the runs they want. As well as this event seemed to go I expect more interest for the next one.

yes prp was happy

we did not set a limit this time either but I would expect more cars because of how well this one went
