I can't wait for this thing. I got the 6262 swap done. Now all I need is some more tuning and seat time. If I am lucky, I can go from my 13.8 to a solid 13.5.......

Maybe I will take the added weight out of the car this year and see what happens.

Certain pieces of the new combo is on national back-order and at this point im not going to compromise the build and go with lesser parts.

Just sucks as im missing alot of prime cruising and racing weather!

I honestly considered photoshopping this for you, but alas, I don't have the time at the moment, nor an appropriate pic of my car.

Id have to swap back to the little turbo to get it to even consider going down to 8psi, the new one wont go any lower than 15, with a creep on top of that to probably 22.

What size wastegate do you have? I'm also concerned with creep with my 38mm. Looking at the specs on your turbo it's extremely close to my 3082.

Im actually on an internal wastegate with a 34mm flapper. I don't think you will have creep issues on the other turbo with an external.

The internal is what is causing the creep most likely.

Build the setup to be capable of pressures higher than the creep... Problem solved.

On another note... If the boost reference line comes off your MAP sensor @ 30PSI, you poop your pants, as it feels like you scattered the motor.

As far as our turbos being similarly sized.

I will agree with the compressor being similarly sized (you actually have me by 2.3mm on the inducer), but my turbine is 7MM larger than a 30R turbine (60mm vs 67.3mm).

Thats a pretty big difference in turbine size. Mine is more 3582R sized.

Ive got my 6262 set at about 20 psi right now. Running the 38 mm gate, I havent seen any creep issues.

Wow you seriously jumped up in turbo size, too. This will be a very interesting track rental! Great to know you don't have any boost creep with a 38mm gate.
