    Inspection and Emissions Recommendation

    Hey all,

Was hoping to get a recommendation for a place that does inspections and emissions in PA. Currently, I have an April sticker and I'm about 400 miles under 5k (for emissions exemption).

Anyone know a place I can take it to get the stickers now? I can switch my setup around and pass without exemption, but it's a really big PITA. Thanks for any help.

I was wondering about this the other day--what's the downside/hurdles to registering your car as a hot rod?

I think the car has to have been built before 1948.

If a car is 25 years old you can get antique plates. Check out the rules and restrictions on the PA DMV website. Should be a one-time $75 fee ( plate & permanent registration )....and you never need inspection or emissions again. Rates may have gone up - PA cranked up just about every charge lately.

Just open a towing company or dealership. I see those plates all the time at the flds.

The thing that pissed me off is that slicks are cheaper in my size.
