Nothing too exciting going on here. Bought a n2mb wot box. Install isn't bad, just kind of makes you nervous cutting wires that go to the ecu. lol

Also went to the track for the first time in a couple years. Here is a pass against a newer wrx. Don't mind me friend being a dick.
This was prior to the 2 step install.

Also, here is me testing out the two step. this is 4000 rpm. This thing is pretty cool, I'd like to get back to the track and try it at some point. The no-lift shift feature is also nice, but takes some getting used to.

What kind of boost is it making with the 2 step? I can't tell what you ran in the video.

It makes like 3-4 psi on the 2 step at 4000 rpm. Next time I go to the track I will bring my laptop so I can adjust the launch RPM.

Apparently I should have uploaded those to youtube. photobucket killed the quality on those videos

12 sec easy next time out. Nice mph too. What rear gear are you running?

I've gone 12.81? i think before. I have 3.55s in it. I'm interested to see how much time it will pick up being able to leave with some boost and not losing boost between shifts. All my runs have been on street tires though so I think leaving under boost will be spin city.

Haven't updated this in forever. Not much going on. Some small winter upgrades.

Some pics from the track rental

Second fastest pass to date at last fall's track rental - car still has a lot left in it - crap 60' and this is on street tires

    Some random other pics

I picked up, and installed a G-force t5 - got a smoking deal on it from a friend

    http://vid71.photobucket.com/albums/...pszwtiqtpz.mp4

I've also been slowly picking up some parts to run ALL THE BOOSTS

Have a couple other parts that need to go on before spring - new upper intake and throttle body setup. But otherwise this winter has been pretty minor aside from the new trans.

I've also decided I really want a set of these wheels - Cosmis Racing xt005R. They look pretty damn close to Weld RTS but are cheaper and not "drag" wheels.

I like the polished lip but think I want hyper black

Normal 5th gear. OD. I have actually yet to drive it with the new trans. Hopefully it holds up lol

I really want those wheels, but alas, I don't have $2000 for new wheels and tires. They will have to wait awhile. Besides, $2000 goes a long way with the rest of the stuff I need to put together a motor !

Make sure you check out the G-force site and get the correct oil for the tranny.

Actually not sure. I had a huge stack of slips but I think I threw most of them out. I know it has gone as fast as 113 though.

Those wheels look really nice. I really wanna pick up a set of weld RTS wheels for my mach 1. I'd like to run a set I'd up like this 15x9 rear and a 17x8 front.

Yeah the cosmis racing wheels look pretty close to those welds. Just cheaper and come in 18x9 and 18x10.

Random question, but anyone have any suggestions on a straight through muffler that won't sound like shit on a v6? Lol

Dual flow 40s. Dunno about magna flow. Magnapacks sound awful on a v6. Not sure about the regular oval case ones.

embrace the fact non V8 stuff isn't going to sound like a V8 ... If anyone makes fun of mine sounding like a tractor I either drag their ass or plow their front yard ....

Fundamentally, the less restrictive the muffler on a turbo car, the more neutral it will sound. Dynomax Ultra Flow and Borla XR1 are both decent. I'm putting mine back together now with a short race bullet, screw the exhaust, lol.
