    motor for 99 gt

I need some help figuring out what motor to build for my wife's 99 gt. I have a friend that builds derby cars and he gas a 1999 crown vic and he has a 2008 police car. I want to build a engine then just take hers out and put this one in .Witch one should I build? Thanks Bob

99 crown vic is a non PI motor I believe.
    2008 should be PI heads.

As far as other differences I'm not sure. Someone may be able to chime in as far as what blocks were used and any other differences.

    Just a little 500 whp V6

If I ever did an LS swap in my car, I would finish it then light it on fire and let it burn to the ground.

If you want something built I guess you have lofty HP goals then?

Gotcha, I am not 100% in tune with the coyote power adder market but I am pretty sure a stock coyote will do 700 rear wheel without having any concerns for the internals. Just food for thought. There is no way I would foot the bill for a built mod motor unless I was trying to make 1000+ at the tire.

I wouldn't exceed 600 RWHP on a stock 2011-14 Coyote bottom end and expect any longevity. And with any form of forced induction I would seriously consider the oil pump gear upgrade.

I have been kicking around the idea of selling the factory lower end out of my Cobra. It will have new bearings and all ARP bolts just because I had the shop take everything out for inspection when the head gasket failed. Its a shame because the factory bearings all looked new when they pulled them. I also have the heads but they will need cleaned up. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
