I'm headed to TnT next Thursday then the SCS Rental.
Try for a 10.0 on street tires. Then time to tear it down.
Dave will hopefully be getting my Shortblock by Dec 1 to build.
9.2 thus far with the car shutting down at the 1000 ft mark. Having launch issues, etc...

I hope you can get the issues worked out!

he's into that, that spiritual stuff. <><
Kept making adjustment but couldn't get the car to leave consistent. Also, the wastegates kept popping open creating a weird boost issue. Back to the drawing board and back again soon. When the car did hook and move, it's never felt stronger. I think we can easily crack the 8's @160+.
Those cars are amazing. At what point will you say enough is enough?
Not it sure if you mentioned - is the car caged?
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.
1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle
1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands
Theres not a cage in it yet. I plan on putting a bar in it over the winter.
Honestly, I don't know when it's enough. To chase the real record (fastest/quickest) means a commitment I'm not sure I'm willing yet to make. I kind of like it being a 8 sec capable pump gas car. We'll see after I turn the boost up and make some bigger power. That will be test.
Back on the dyno today. 913whp/685 ft lbs.... straight 93 ocatane. Has some room left too.
Fixed the wastegate issue and graph is the smoothest it's ever been. Holding rock steady boost and still climbing at 8000 RPM. Also had to replace the ETS as the car was acting RWD the last time to the strip. Going to incorporate the syvecs RWD controller to see if I can get more heat into the slicks this time.
Hold off winter!!
#43 fastest FBO GTR here.
Will be signing DMB T Shirts at the rental for $5
Those numbers are insane for 93. I hope to see this car make a pass in person some time. Heading to Norwalk tomorrow for the Halloween classic.
