I thought that was a v8 only class, but after looking it up its seems engine/drivetrain stuff is unrestricted

Humm looking at the rules it looks like I could run CAM as well? Not sure where else I would run, guess I should look at the other classes. Car has full exhaust, intake, Z51 Brakes, Z51 sway bars and Z06 shocks.

Cam sounds right, or you would go to ASP. Cam likely a better fit for your car.

Pretty sure c5, c6 and c7 corvettes were banned from the class

Just looked it up. Its 1984 and up corvettes and all vipers that are excluded from the class

Ah I see they were excluded in 15. Not that I have a chance in hell of competing anyway, looks like ASP is it.

Yeah, seems the scca says gtfo tho. Asides from a nhscc drivers school in 2008 I'm a autox noob. I also considered bringing my Volt up.

Haha, hey I finished in the top 3rd of the 131 people there, for having 100 dollar sumitomos on the front and bald invos on the rear I would say it does all right

Yeah ridiculous turnout. Usually when I show up to an NHSCC event once or twice a year it's to run someone else's car there are like 70 people. I ended up at 37.4, I think on better tires it could've been in the low 36s, but not quite enough to catch the Evo but that car is ridiculous anyway (and in another class).

Yep good to meet you and GTR matt as well. I thought the track was great, and finished 2nd in cam with a 36.07. It was a great day, except for Matt's driveshaft lol.

Yeah that sucked... I talked him into making that last run......... *hides*

I ended up with 2 36.8's in the day as my best... watching the videos after the fact I see a lot of room for improvement but too late now.. lol
