Looking for 2 tires to throw on the back of my stang just to pass inspection with. Stock 5 star pony rims and the 4 lug setup. Just need the tires, unless someone has 2 mounted on the 5 star rims that I can "borrow" for a few days to get the car to pass inspection, then I'll return them.

if you need to buy tires....a guy by my dad has two 225/55/16 for $40. i was gonna get them for front of my stang but if you need them ill bring them back for ya.
Thanks for the offer Jared. My rear tires won't pass inspection. I am just basically looking to "borrow" 2 tires so that is passes and will put my old ones back on to run for this summer. I can't afford tires this year, so I will buy 4 new ones next spring after I bring the car out of hibernation

Yes I think it is safe. The tires are decent and I only drive my car a little bit during the summer and it will get parked in November till April
The tires are good enough to last this season, but not good enough to pass inspection. If I didn't think they would be OK, I certainly would not try to use them, but thanks for you concern
