and the price is great considering the wheels and drivetrain.
here is the ad...
1972 Ford Gran Torino Squire wagon. All factory equipment except wheels (have original wheels and hubcaps). LOADED wagon - 429, C6 with HD cooler, 3rd seat, A/C, TracLok rear end, Power steering and brakes, Power seat, Power locks, Power windows, factory AM/FM Stereo radio, CW interior, Rack, Guards, Light group, HD group, Towing package, HD cooling package, and so on.
Rebuilt engine, transmission, rear end. New water pump, voltage regulator, solenoid, radiator, hoses, belts, thermostat, front suspension. Exterior wood trim was deleted during a paint job several years back by previous owner, but I have almost all of it boxed in my garage. Rebuilt carb, starter, alternator. Stereo rebuilt, speakers refurbished to new, sounds great. Medium Brown Metallic exterior, Ginger Comfort Weave interior. Seats are like new, dash, door panels headliner, trim all beautiful inside. I even have a brand new set of Ginger wagon carpet still in the box. Body of the car has 115K miles, drivetrain has 15K miles. ALL RECEIPTS from every repair, all documentation from the initial order forms to shipper slips, window decal, manuals, etc. Bought from the original owner. Clean Tennessee title in my name along with the original title when new. Numbers matching. Smooth runner. Some normal small spots of rust that can be repaired if you so desire. Cowl, fenderwells, core support are perfect and were cleaned and painted when the front clip was off.
I have begun installing a Gran Torino Sport front clip on it (not shown in pictures) to give it a sporty feel, as well as being what the original owner wanted the car to have when he ordered it new (I have the records to that effect where Ford refused to build it that way). That would need to be completed or return the original parts on it. It has not been wrecked and I also have the original front clip as well. All used parts that were replaced throughout the years also included! Golden opportunity to own a time capsule. Now has 17 inch American Racing Salt Flats. Pictures are before I started swapping the front clip. With a small amount of work, this would be a show-stopper. People love to strike up a conversation when they see it. Driven by me to work, to the store, couple of trips to Atlanta. Original service decal still on windshield from new.
Email me with any questions. Price is firm at $6,000. There has been over $10K put into this, so I am firm. Sorry, not interested in a trade.
