I recently upgraded turbos and decided I won't be going back to the GT2871R, even though this was an outstanding and fun turbo with great mid-range power. ALWAYS run with an air filter!
52-trim compressor wheel
.63 T3 2.5" v-band turbine housing
No shaft play and never leaked any oil
Always used an oil restrictor
There may be 10,000 miles on this turbo. 9,500 of those being at just 11psi.
Includes a 2" outlet adapter, 2.25" compressor inlet, and a 3" compressor inlet. I'll include a 3" flexible inlet tube if desired.
No coolant or oil drain fittings.
Some photos show the turbo with oil on it. That is only from removal.
At some point recently the Garrett tag came off, but I assure you this is a genuine Garrett turbo. Never rebuilt, and never taken apart.
