Re: Octane Requirements
Personally, when my car was running the 17# setup I would always splash in some race gas (104 unleaded) when I filled up with 93-94 octane.
IMHO, 600 RWHP on 93 octane is something that can and does work *BUT* only if you NEVER get a bad batch of gas and don't beat on it repeadedly in hot weather.
We are in the process of finding out why PJ2's car is blowing black smoke puffs at higher rpms on the dyno. I pulled one plug and saw small specks on a plug and called off further dyno pulls until we find out if it's detonation.

Congrats to all you guys on some SWEET and SICK numbers!!
I wish I could have made the trip, as I haven't had my car on the dyno since the Paxton install - but I spent most of the day Saturday in and under my car, replacing my clutch cable, among other things. ( THANKS AGAIN, PAUL FOR THE CABLE!! ). I guess that's better than nothing though. Hopefully I'll be back on the road by the middle of this week. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
