    Thoughts on 93-97 LT1 Camaros

I had one of these about 10-12 years ago for one summer and it was kind of a fun car to pick up chicks and do burnouts in. At the time, I was more into bikes so I never really did anything to it or messed around with it too much.

Anyways, I've come across a really clean, low mileage 97 Z28 for CHEAP. I'd obviously much rather have a LS1 98-02, but the price/condition of this car has me thinking.

Other than the required mullet, anyone have any thoughts on them?

Oh and the purpose of this car would be to have a cheap summer DD with a V8 and AC. Other than buying cheap used mods, it would remain relatively stock.

6 speed maybe. Auto no way. I had the opti-spark problems in all my lt-1 cars.
    After a ls1 car I will never get in a lt1 car.

It would probably be a fun car for a summer dd if it has the t-tops. I've only had v6 model f-bodies so I couldn't tell you about the lt1.
