Pagoda Hillclimb 2016. Got locked out of third this run before the finish, went 79.9. Ran a little quicker on Saturday. Record time in ESP and I guess it is the fastest time ever run by a production based car. 4th overall out of 108. There is more in the car. With the CJ I should be shifting at 7800, I'm shifting at 7k most of the time because I am so scared to get locked out of gear. Ordering clutch, done dealing with it.

    1:32 F*CK!!! LOL.

Awesome stuff. I did 32% of this today... on public roads... with no safety equipment... with Wifey screaming, "Slow down, you're a stupid mother f*cker"... etc.

My car shuts off at 7,000rpm regularly. It's happy as hell to rev right up to and just past 7K and quit. dead. How long do you think the stock bottom end will be happy at 7,800? Or, is it the valvetrain that will give up first?

You get no idea of how freakin fast Mark's car is from that vid. That CJ intake is the shit. Makes my Track Pack with 3.73's feel like an absolute turd.

My video camera is gay. Zero concept of speed. Touched 7500 in fourth going into turn 6, think that's around 135 (7900 is 146), very near limiter in 2nd twice and that is 76 mph. I need a real one with a wide angle lens.

Just curious... what is locking you out of gear? you have AED tune, correct? Is there still some of the stock tune stepping in or what's happening? How does better clutch solve problem? Forgive my stupidity,,, just curious. Got an appt. at Tim's in a few weeks, curious what to raise stock rev limiter to. Def. not in competition, but (obviously) this engine likes to rev waaaay past 7K.

It is the stock clutch. It sucks donkey dick and I have wasted untold dollars trying to get this thing to shift consistently. Blowfish bracket, steel clutch line, separate reservoir for the clutch, Wilwood EXP 600 fluid, constantly changing the fluid, shift it early, talk dirty to it, nothing ****ing works. To everyone. Please, don't waste your time or aggravation. Put a god damn McLeod in it.

And the problem is above 7300 rpm or so and whenever it feels like being a cocksucker it will not go into gear. Doesn't grind just feels like you are slamming between the gates. Common issue, and solved by replacing the clutch, which no one does, they just bitch about it like me.

I'd like to see video on some of those corners taken from outside of the car. Did you have to buff out weed marks?

Ha ha no I didn't. Was definitely trying to use the entire road. There are some floating around, I have one where I am braking from 135 down to about 100 into T6, but it looks slow as **** on video. I'll try to figure out how to post it.

Giants Despair Hillclimb. 45.0. New clutch, ended up putting an Exedy Mach 500 in the car, ordered a McLeod and they sent the wrong one. The Exedy was the only one I could find, luckily Millernaught had one he was planning on putting in. All shifting issues are gone. For the price, I am loving this clutch. Also installed a McLeod lightened steel flywheel at the same time.

Put the same combo in my car (Exedy Mach 500/McLeod billet steel flywheel) and the car is soooooooo much easier to shift at higher rpm's. It makes me not want to sell the car now because of the shifting issues.
