    asking price is "asking" price. you got to act like Richard Rawlings. i offered 4,000 less (which was trade-in value) than what this guy was asking for my Miata two years ago. He took 3,000 less (which was about low private party value) than what he was asking. he wasn't happy, but he took it after I told him he'd have a check the next day and he didn't have to talk to anybody from CL any more. LOL!
