Seems like a clean car with good mods and low miles. I'd say maybe $7500 or a little more.

That was my first thought as well. That and a mach 1 grill delete would make that car look a lot better

I'd say 7K. looks like a decent car. What is the guy asking? Also, judging by the current mods and it previously having a paxton, it was probably drag raced pretty good. I'd check the motor over and make sure it runs well still.

also, give me that hood. Mine is already silver at least? lol

    Just a little 500 whp V6

Slow..........that hood swap may be a deal. It's a little tall for my wife. And I think your hood (at least from the sig pic) looks like the one we would want.

Met the guy last night and gave the car a good going over. He's had it since 2004 and only put 30k miles on it. It's super clean. There are only two marks on the outside of the car...it's a 9.5/10. The interior is a 9.5/10. You can tell that he was more of a poser than a racer. He liked to tinker and add stuff to the car but never really did anything with it.

I also get the stock wheels, tires, gauge surround and some other stuff. The big tach will be finding its way into the 387W Ranger.

So.........yes.........I am getting the car. It will get a headlight swap, grill swap and possibly a gear swap. That's it. My son asked if we needed the trailer........I said "nope.........this one actually runs and drives!"

He was asking $7,500. We got it for $6,700. I started at $6,200......I went up 500, he came down 800............so I win!! Picking it up next week.

Anyone have a set of the darker headlights to sell?

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

I tried. Time to get D@TW back on front page in front of s33r. haha

Dan, FWIW, that car's probably making about 250rwhp and 280rwtq. I had an '01 with everything he (you) got plus cams (stage 1 comp cams) and u/d pullies and it was putting down 294/314 STD would be about 280/300 SAE. I had a PI swapped '97 before the 01 that put down about 250/280. By my calculations, the cams are worth about 25hp or so. Not really worth the labor.

What gear you thinking about? higher? I think 4.10s are perfect for the 2V. Now, 4.30s would be fun as hell. I had 4.10 in the '97 and loved them. 3.73 in the '01 not so nice... 4.30s would turn it into a 3 speed.

We'll drive it for a while with the 4.10's and see how it does. We plan on road tripping it and want the drone and RPM to be reasonable. Maybe 3.73's. I really like 3.55's as a DD gear. My Ranger has them (C4 trans but 28" tires), T-bird had them (5.0 HO/T5). Her fox vert had 3.90's with an AOD. Made the car feel spunky but almost needed one more gear on the highway.
