    After 10 years I'm back in a Mach 1

For my friends that now feel old, yes it's been 10 years since I sold my '03 Mach 1. I just picked up a turbo 2004 Mach 1. Car has 87K on it, but the built motor only has 2K on it. It needs some general TLC, but overall it's a solid car and I'm looking forward to making it my own. First priority is freshening up all the old and worn out pieces, such as seats and various aged plastic.

    Overview:

    - Built motor with 8.5:1 pistons (verified perfect compression test)
    - Return fuel system with dual 255 walbros
    - 80lb injectors
    - Unfortunately stock TR3650 transmission
    - SPEC 3+ clutch
    - Hellion single turbo kit with Precision turbo. Not exactly sure the size. It's big and a bit slow to spool.
    - 31 spline Ford rear with forged axles. Stock 3:55 gears.
    - Cobra front bumper
    - Dumped exhaust. Soon to be quieted by a cat back.
    - 17x9 fronts and 17x10.5 rear black cobra style wheels

Looks great for the miles. How bad are the seats? If it's just the bolsters you can get just the bolsters replaced like new pretty reasonable.

Congrats! Best of both worlds. Low end grunt of the turbo and the high end rush of a 4 valve. Cool cars for sure.

It's only a couple psi from 700 ft-lb, but of course the turbo doesn't hit the driveline as hard as a supercharger or N/A. That might work. Where can I find this upgrade?
I do like the TR3650. It's a smooth shifting transmission. That SPEC 3+ is a beast, though. I'm going to have to get back to the gym to drive my own car.
The other option I'm heavily considering is an automatic, but I have a lot of research to do there. All transmission options welcome.

Primarily bolsters, but the pleather is also very worn. The last couple owners must have been much larger guys than I am. The passenger seat isn't terrible, but there is some pleather actually worn off the bolster.

I picked it up in Winchester, VA. Roughly 3 hour drive.

Very cool Mark, congrats on the new ride! Hard to believe it's been 10 years since your old one. I remember seeing some posts about it back in the day.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Gforce and Astro both build the 3650. Gforce I think makes the gear set. Replace bell with front plate to use a steel bell housing. Adds a 26 spline input. Astro is over 4k to build though. Gforce never responded to me. Both can be dog ringed.
