I had a blast almost beating a certain yellow c7 in my 6600 lb truck in my first race!

After that I got smoked by everything, but still had fun.

Hey now. 14.05 was better thank my goal of 14.10 for my first pass. LOL.

After twice going from second to first I decided to shut it down for the day. Best was a 12.75@113.8, traps were garbage, had to be me.

Thats pretty crazy that you still won by almost 2 seconds, they make a lot power up top. Maybe look into a short throw shifter, that helped a lot on my mustang for the 2-3 shift.

Is someone going to make an ET thread again? I'd like to see how everyone ran.

Thanks PJ for all the work. Had a GREAT time today. Ran a new stock PB - 12.89 @ 110.54.

Felt bad for the black '15 that broke. Anyone know what happened? Head gasket??

    Just need more seat time.

That first pass I tried to use launch control and stock tires weren't with that plan. Also couldn't get it into 3rd. First pass ever with 3 pedals. lol.

After I went from 2nd to 1st on the track with full clutch engagement I decided to call it a day. Did it once on the street on the way there as well, still paranoid I hurt something, all seems ok though.

I was hoping you had some clean underoos in the glovebox after watching that run. It'll get easier - just keep at it. I missed 2nd on one pass - with an MGW shifter. That shit ain't easy to do...but it happens.

Everyone has done it. That motor is fine. If that ls1 could take me doing a 3rd to 2nd, that LT will take it.
