Thank you for the track rental. I had fun.
My signature needs to show my previous cars, so people think I know what I'm talking about.

Was bad Ron. Went all out with the G string but the weight saving wasn't comfy.

Had a great time at this rental, my friends beat on their machines to achieve new personal bests. Seen lots of good action and some really quick and fast machines and some good match races. I broke the trans in the Buick at the last Flashlight Drags so I couldn't get any real full power passes but it was still fun to do burnouts and pretend my car wasn't broken. I did manage to not break anything else and drive the whole 182 miles round trip for this and it was great.

    Thanks for the welcome!
Dan said a seal failed in one of the turbos and filled the intake with coolant and also now cyl #1 has zero compression. Sounds serious enough to say it's mortally wounded.

x2. It left just before me. It was smokin' more than my GTO with a tired old motor.

Nice to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones too. There was some fast shit there yesterday. If I would have run the GTO, I may have been the slowest vehicle there. (it ran a best of 15.0 @ 92mph about 3-4 years ago at PRP). Here is a shot of it next to the other slowest vehicle there...

Man that's a bummer. Any idea how much boost he was running or how much power he was making?

7# of boost, he was dialing in the shift points on the auto trans before the pass went bad, used to be a 6 speed car. I'm certain Dan said 650hp on 7#

Same type of day for me this time. I did have the pleasure of being the first car to break again.
Snapped an axle on the first try. Changed it. Didn't feel right on the second. checked a few things and everything looked alright. Babied it out on the third pass. As soon as it built some torque, the car got loose. Pretty sure I broke the output shaft in the transfer case when the axle snapped in the first pass.
