Drag wheel set-up on '14 GT - any suggestions ?

Just picked up a '14 and am looking for a drag wheel set-up. Seems like searching around, 17x4.5 and 15x10 are what I'm seeing a lot of. Will those sizes fit a standard GT with the basic GT brake package ( no Brembo's, etc. ). What size are people using that require the sway bar relocation ? Any suggestions on brands - Racestars, Welds, etc. Car will be a DD on nice days and see track time on the weekends - not a dedicated track only car. Thanks. Any input would be appreciated.

If you go 15×10 rears you will need relocation brackets. Weld RTS wheels are nice. I had them on my 2011.

I have a set of 15x4.5 race star fronts with mt tires. They fit over the base brakes. Yes to do 15" wheels on the rear you need a sway bar relocation bracket it is very cheap and easy to do.

No one here races mustangs. They watch while the GTRs and TSI's tear up the 1/4 mile.

I run a 15"x10" Race Star with 44mm offset / 7.25" backspacing for rears. Those in conjunction with this BMR sway bar relocation brackets http://bmrsuspension.com/?page=produ...187&superpro=0

Not bad at all for installation. Bolt the BMR brackets on the factory brackets that are welded to the axle tubes and use the BMR brackets as a guide when cutting factory bracket.

Also run a pair of Weld RT-S's Marginally wider than the Race Stars with marginally more backspacing. The weight of the two are very similar if that is a concern.
