    2005 Chevy Corvette

Just a heads up, I may be selling my Vette....... due to divorce, I've already lost my Jaguar, and I'm currently evaluating if its in my best interest to cut ties with the Vette and payoff the ex, and get started rebuilding sooner rather than in 18-24 months... I'll put up an official for-sale ad, probably a craigslist ad, tonight when i get a chance to make it, but here's some brief specs.... please pass the word

    For Sale Ad - http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...uspension.html

I bought the car 3.5 years, and 20K miles ago..... car currently has just under 73K miles..... Mods list is below.... There are a lot on legacy members on here that have seen/heard the car.... Honestly, the thing is fun as hell, fast, and grabs attention like you can't imagine.... made 475 rwhp, and all mods were done by A&A Corvettes in Southern California. I bought the car in LA 3.5 years ago and drove it home. Even though it has a big cam, i find it to be just fine for the street... Its actually setup as a blower-cam, so the car is ready for some more "love" if someone wants to go there.... Handling is incredible on it, as you would expect with the mods - pulled 1.21 G's on the exit off of 376 towards Industry (where i used to live)....

Currently located just west of Rochester, NY, I have no issue meeting someone that's a serious buyer.... but there's a limited window if you want drive it, as the snow comes earlier, and in much more quantity, up here...

I'll attach a couple pics now, but will have good pics in the official for-sale ad..

    Mods:

    Engine:

    *Vararam Intake
    *Professionally Ported FAST 92mm manifold
    *Comp Cams custom ground 232/240 .643/.649 112lsa
*Supporting valvetrain for the cam, including dual springs, locks/retainers, etc.
    *Underdrive Pulley

    Exhaust:

*ARH 1 7/8" Long Tube Headers
    *ARH 3" Catless X pipe
    *SLP LM1 Axle-back

    Drivetrain:

*Spec Stage 3 Plus, 850 lb/ft rated clutch
    *Spec Aluminum Flywheel
    *2007 Z06 M6 Transmission
    *2007 Z06 Rear Differential

    Suspension:

    *Pfadt Racing fully adjustable coilovers
*Caspers Electronics F55 Mag Ride Harness Plugs (bypasses car's F55-to-BCM comms by returning the signal through a jumper)

    Interior:

*OEM GM 2009 Z06 Carbon/Leather Wrap dash bezel w/ Ti Stitching
*DSV Nappa Leather wrapped console lid w/ Ti stitching
*DSV Nappa Leather wrapped console base w/ Ti stiching
*DSV Nappa Leather wrapped gauge pod surrounds w/ Ti stitching

As with any well modified car, there are a couple quirks:
1.) There is a SES light on due to the gas cap - I check it frequently to make sure its nothing else, but as is the problem with many C6 Vettes, you can go through gas-caps like there's no tomorrow, and it's a temporary fix.... I've just gotten used to it and clear it from the message panel
2.) The computer reminds you every so often about a side effect of another mod - due to the upgrade to a Z06 transmission, which had 1 less plug-in than the original manual transmission, it throws a message at you on the message center every so often. Its easy to clear out and doesn't annoy me, so I haven't bothered to try and use a resistor to shut it off.
3.) I planned to have the front bumper re-painted this winter.... down by the lip gets a lot of rock chips, and i wanted to have the lip clear bra'd, but it didn't work out last time. Ryan (on this board) painted it 2 years ago and did a great job. I"d suggest him again. However, if someone buys it, I'd suggest waiting to get it painted - it will take a while to get accustomed to how low the car is, so for your own good, get used to it before painting the bumper.

Ugh, hate to see this but figured it was coming.

Been around this car a lot, it's a nice ride and sounds silly. Good buy for someone.

Local to me, yes, but not Pittsburgh - buyer only lives about 10 mins from my house.... which makes me even more unhappy, since I'm sure I'll see/hear it floating around from time to time....

We'll see - this sale has a very important purpose - now i can "buy-out" my ex-wife and begin rebuilding sooner rather than later. I'm thinking that by late summer or early fall, i should have enough saved up to put a nice deposit on a new car... As all of us do, i've already done PLENTY of searching for what that will be.... Right now, I'm thinking either a GTR, C7-Z06, Tesla, or maybe even something like a Porsche Panamera.... In the price range, there's lots of cars, so there's prob things I haven't even thought about..... Ultimately, I'd prefer the Z06 to anything else, but with the fact that I come back to Pgh every other weekend to see my son, something with back seats is a real draw... Right now, the GTR is my leading candidate... the rear seats combined with the fact that the depreciation is the best of any car i've ever seen, makes it a real winner...

Be careful. GTR's can only be driven three days per year, required to be covered the other 362 and must be under roof even when outside.....parking garage, under a pavilion, etc.

And you have to take pics of it with beer and microfiber towels.
