I really have no interest in spraying it. I might put a 100 shot on it some time for a ET record but I'm just not that interested in power adders with what I do with it.

I did make some changes since I started this thread. I switched to a Ed Curtis cam. I also switch from the trick flow intake to a super victor. For rockers I went with jesel shaft mount. FTI restalled the converter but the were relucant to. They wanted me to try it as is but I talked them into loosening it up. I'm a little worried about that decision now. The rockers should be here this week. I decided on an advance product design carb which should also be here this week. Once I have the rockers I can measure push rod length and get those ordered from trend. My intake gaskets are being made by cometic and should be here next week. Other then that I have everything else and ready to assemble. Then fuel system is finished. It's a factory tank with a sump, a A1000 pump, -10 to the fuel log, post regulated with a -10 return. I'm trying to post pics with my phone and it won't let me rotate them sorry.

Some things I wish I would have done different are more compression, more rpm, and a lighter car. I just don't want to gut this car. Those are just some areas I left power on the table. I went lower on the compression to be able to run pump gas and I kept the rpms down so the engine will live for another 700 passes.

Probably, it's going to be close. I'll just have to wait and see once I get the engine in the car.

Always the solution to life's problems.

I will say this, I have to get serious about that "lighter car" part. I'm facing that harsh reality that "street car" stuff weighs a lot, and I would break a whole lot less if I was 200# lighter. When they dropped one of the classes from 3200# to 3000# their transmission carnage went down a lot. I'm in that same league. You might be better with the C4, but I suspect you are going to see it soon too at this new power level.

You are right about the weight Bob. I want to keep mine as much of a street car as possible but it gets harder and harder the faster I go. It's not so bad when you and a power added to a V8 but when you are they to stay NA or limited to a 4 cylinder it get hard. You need to be creative.
my carb finally came in today. It looks awesome!
