What's in the barrel? Or, is it freshly charred oak? You buy it like that or do it yourself? Excuse my ignorance,,, just curious.
I live near the West Overton Museum. They've been saying they're going to start making Old Overholt (again) on site for a few years now. I don't think they can find a distiller. They sold the name and recipe to Jim Beam years ago, but they still have some kind of stipulation that they can produce it here. They have a pretty cool History of Whiskey museum if you ever get down the Scottdale / Mt. Pleasant way, check it out. https://www.westovertonvillage.org/history/
