sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo another day another problem. Found that the car was leaning out on WOT conditions (thank you wideband :)) and traced it back to a boost a pump that neither boosted nor pumped anymore. Its no wonder from the hack-tastic way it was installed. Just splice it in and let it bounce around the inner quarter, f it good enough. Why do automotive butchers seem to gravitate to mustangs so frequently? dunno but every modded one I've bought has been a shit show. New bap ordered, and now I wait

My car appears to have been babied all it's life and I swear if I look at it wrong something breaks. Little shit here and there.

    Cam,
If you would have went with the Fiero seat you could have avoided all of these problems with the car!

If that is indeed the case, take this advice seriously.

Run.... Just run and never look back.

Once I start running I won't have to look back because this damn car will break 3' out of the garage if it chases after me

Solved my fueling (leaning out) problem tonight! I originally thought it was my boost a pump, however once I recieved my new one and started to read the wiring diagram that comes with it I realized it was just wired in an asinine fashion and probably shouldn't work, but it was sending 17v to the pumps. I'm probably going to leave it alone, even though I'm pretty surprised it didn't kill the fpdm. I'm crediting this to Sutyak who I was talking to tonight (ok mostly just bitching about my car) and discussing the wires on the maf. I bought a new connector because mine is broken, but the replacement only had 4 wires and mine has 6. One of my wires was just shoved into the connector. I discovered this when I had the CAI piping off to change the clamps. I temporarily repaired that connection and ordered a replacement. Started to think on the way home that maybe that wire wasn't making contact when the car was tuned, and now that I repaired it, perhaps it's altering the A/F since it's getting a signal now. To test that theory I pulled that wire back out of the connector and low and behold the A/F is perfect again at WOT. So cliff notes, I fixed the car which actually broke it, so I had to break it again...which fixed it.

Is that kinda like when a bad guy is facing a LEO and using a hostage as a shield and pointing a gun at the hostage's head and the LEO shoots the hostage so the hostage falls to the ground, thereby giving the LEO a clear shot at the bad guy?

Sortof backwards logic that gets the job done.

Anyway, nice work Cam. Kudos for your stick-to-it-iveness!
