He said mains were trashed enough he didn't even bother pulling a rod cap....hopefully some more pics soon.

He may be doing a 408 for the car....the block had already been bored 0.010 which to my understanding is max in stock LS6.

Not sure if any scoring in cylinder walls or not.

Still waiting for carnage pics of the mains....

Might as well post some new daily pics while we wait...

06 GT 5MT premium, 1 owner, 24k miles. Guy was 70 and suffered a stroke last yr and had to sell it since the doctor would not clear him to drive a manual transmission anymore. He and his wife used this car for vacation trips to florida..car was still wearing it's 10 yr old tires at 50% tread when I bought it a couple weeks ago.

Mods will be simple as I am only looking to get from A-B in straight poser status and on the cheap...hence the 3v car.

PS....also check out that sweet fuel mileage on 87 octane.

    All-show-no-go situation is improving.....

If I had time to do that I wouldn't have sold the car that started this thread.

That decision was made off of time limitations and not ability limitations. Righty tighty left loosey...how hard could it be? ;)

If it makes you feel any better the axle back should arrive tomorrow and I will install it myself. LOL

Looks good John! Do you plan on driving it in the winter? Been considering a mustang for a daily myself. My G8 went fine in the snow with proper snow tires. I'm thinking a mustang probably would as well, especially with some weight in the trunk.
